I guess he was thinking he needed to screw up a decent car with a cheap paint job, it would take another $5K to undo that mess.

I sent him an email asking if he painted over the chrome trim and did let him know the mirrors were supposed to stay black.. and requested more pictures
All this car needs now is some 26"s and some sort of nascar styled logos to be riding donk status

he just sent me an email
"thank you for you opinion. I painted everythimg to get a new style look. the window frames and windshield frames are to be painted black. Mechanically, this car is a 9 1/2, with all the service and repairs I did to it. I HAVE OVER $5000- IN PARTS RECEIPTS. Your going to have very few problems down the road. I would consider $6500- AT THIS TIME. GORDIE" I wouldnt offer higher than 1500..

I think he's going to have that car for a long time. I hope he likes the color. Well at least you could find it in a crowded parking lot. Just wouldn't want anyone to see me getting into it.

It doesn't look too bad. I once painted an 88 Topaz two-tone black and Acura Imora Orange
looked pretty sharp, because the tricoat pearl midcoat distracted you from the fact that it was ORANGE. It was known around town as the A&W car  If I could be certain it was a matallic paint job, I'd buy it, but again...NOT for 6500$...loser...
