If that is it, it is nice, but not quite museum quality.....

emergency car fund

I like! (no turbo?)

One of these days I need to get a mad money car fund going to grab one of these low mileage beauties that pop up from time to time.

Then again, I just paid six months of car insurance on five cars..... ugh!

Why is it that a "multi-car" discount is such a joke. You can only drive one at a time!!!

buy the best one you can afford / find

I believe in buying the best example you can find / afford. Go for zero rust (easy for me to say - I'm in Texas). It took a year looking on eBay to find my 97 S600. I probably paid 3K premium for it - but it is dang near perfect!

That interior on this 123 for example is worth a 2K premium to me. A "retrim" is $500 per front seat and $1000 for the rear bench. Not sure how much new carpet would run. When I see a 123 of that vintage, the door trim is usually "puckered" pretty good.

Not sure why the fuel cap has surface rust - was the car near the coast?

I think it's a good color combo as well (aged well).

If you can get a pre-purchase inspection that is a bonus. At least you'll know what you're getting into. Service history is the next most important thing to review. With that low mileage, even if the previous owner skipped some regular maintenance (let's say went too long on an oil change), the damage would be minimal on such a low mileage engine.

Of course, it's not my money and I've never seen the car, so keep a level head when parting with your hard earned dollars!

all caps listing is killing my eyes.
and I am not sure, but the Oil Pressure, has a 0 on it. strange, but I am not sure if any of mine have a 0.

It also looks like there is only "2 bar" of pressure at idle yet the engine seems to have been just started in the picture, as the temp gauge hasn't registered anything yet....shouldn't it be up at 3bar if its cold like that? All ours do...

Hey BODYART and Jimmy L ,this is Dave from the meet at Leos,I had the Gold 300d .This one came up and I had to share .I am suspicious of details also vtech ,notice also how banged up the plastic grill is ,if it had made only 31k miles and was a garaged kept one owner, that front would be pristine.

Could be the ODO stopped at 31k? Bad temp guage or sending unit? New attempt at Photoshop?

I was thinking the same even my SD with 347,xxx miles will be a three bar until you get the temp up.

It's a pretty car but I am going to be the skeptic. That steering wheel is sure smooth for only 34,xxx of driving.

I saw 2 bids were retracted because they could not contact the seller. Strange since this looks to be a dealer. This would be one to check out in person.

Yup, if you could put it up on a rack then the 30K car claim could be validated. Those undersides don't lie.
