What a mess! Cruise wire...
OK... I bought a used cruise amp (supposedly it works) and found, to my disappointment, that when I got down there to plug it in, one of the several wires that goes down into the plug that plugs into the top of the cruise amp... is broken. It's not as simple as a crimped end coming out of the connector plug... I think the wire... it's almost like it got cut off while it was down in the connector... i have one wire dangling loose out of the bundle that goes down to the several-pin plug that plugs into the cruise box. Any ideas at all on how to jury-rig fix this? I doubt that that plug itself is replaceable...

If its like the rest of the plugs on the mercedes, it shoud be able to easily be opened up with a flat screwdriver. Then the metal parts can be resoldered to the wire.
