Needs a "Type R" sticker on the back. Oh wait, maybe an AMG badge? or "Kompressor"?
Very funny. Like a parody of a CVCC or a C230 coupe or something.

I think it's a highly secret spy photo, of a real, up and coming Mercedes. I think in a few more years, this is what they'll look like.... Some sort of test mule..

What a silly looking thing....somebody's ride done got pimped, although I wonder where they found room for the 12" subs?
I want to see this parked next to an SDL... Hey, since it's probably a Honda, they should put in one of those 3-cylinder diesels from the Honda "Silent Diesel Generator" (which actually seems to be quite a nice little engine). -AC

Cute though. Looks like a 124, after a fight with a semi..or two actually, one in front, one in back.. Nice work though. Like the Rolls Royce noses, you could buy for the old VW Beetles. A friend of mine had a yellow one with that nose on it...looked a bit funky.

The old ones were just called CVCCs. Cute little go-carts!

Actually, I believe that is a Fiat 126.
Not an MB W126, a model of Fiat. The fact that it has MB W201 parts grafted on each end is inconsequential. Look up "Fiat 126" and you'll see what I mean...

Kinda neat in a strange...sideshow...way. Definitely a red Fiat parked next to it.

That is the coolest thing ever - really, I like it. Does that mean I'm way, way too much of an Mercedes-phile?

Precisely.
At first, I thought it might be a Honda N600 (I used to own a green one)... But, alas it's a 126

I just love these old Hondas...They're reall cute. My uncle had a 78 Accord, Hatchback. It was so small, it could be parked almost anywhere. Next, he bought an 81 300CD. What a step-up, that was. Beautiful, and the very car, which inspired my first Mercedes purchase when I bought my 79 300CD in 2001. My uncle only kept his cars, for a few years and traded up. Since the 300CD, he's had nothing, but Honda accords, and about 5 years ago, made the upgrade to Acura vehicles. Big time lawyer, driving an Acura..and then you go down to the ghetto, and see these Acura's in peoples driveways..He should have stayed with MBZ.

Okay, guys, history lesson.
It's not a Honda Civic. We had the first ('73) in the family brand new, the car in question started life as a Honda 600, before the CVCC technology came out. It had an upright 2-cylinder air cooled engine, and a funky shift lever that poked out of the dash. The CVCC as tinny as it was, was Honda's first serious car and a quantum jump ahead of the 600.
