Leather Interior

Got a seat and an armrest today at the junk yard that were in good shape but dirty as all get out, tried some leather cleaner and it got them cleaner but they still were no where near clean had allot of dirt down in the little textured areas, so I got to thinking wich can be very dangerous and if any of you have ever used a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser youll know what Im talking about there great for cleaning everything that you thuoght would never come clean again so I figured why not give it a shot and WOW they almost look like new it took 99.9% of all the dirt off I was amazed they need a good coat of conditioner now, the eraser also sucked all the oil off the surface but thats easy. I would highly recomend you give it a shot

be sure and heavily condition the leather after you clean it! that stuff will crack and fall apart rapidly!

you might want to visit a leather shop and get some advice on reconditioning old leather. there are oils for replenishing dried out leather. tung oil comes to mind... not sure. most "conditioners" are for keeping new leather new. old stuff need special care.

I use these also and for some things they are great. Be aware that this product is essentially a very fine sand paper. Can scratch some glossy surfaces and may remove finishes.

I believe each of these cars are the final production year for that model.

Griot's and Leatherique both offer the correct leather restorative oils.
