I pulled apart my door today to find out why my door will not lock. Well, the door handle connects into a plastic piece that pushes the door lock up and down when locking/unlocking the door. It is a thin piece, but I do have both sides and it made a clean break.

I can not find anywhere around here (even the junkyards) that have the locking mechanism I need. Dealer wants over 218 for it - yea right.

So, would a epoxy or jb weld type adhesive repair this, and hold up to locking and unlocking a door every day?

Does anyone have a best suggestion for a brand or type of adhesive that would stand up to the above situation??
