83 300D Turbo slightly leaking injectors

The 3 center injectors are leaking a little. I'm wondering if that has anything to do with the lack of power from a dead stop. I've turned the ALDA counter clockwise about 2 turns, which helped at first, but now I've lost power again. I've changed both fuel filters. I've read about a banjo bolt, but I need help finding it. Thanks for a great site for guys like me who need a lot of help!

83 300D Turbo bought from the original owner last month. No rust, one small dent. Great car!

More often than not, the type of leak at injectors you describe is usually due to old fuel return lines. (Cloth braided lines traveling from one inj to another.)

IIRC you need 1.2 meters.

Yes, the return lines were leaking. I changed them and thought the problem was solved. But when I cleaned the engine and ran it a while longer, I noticed fuel around the injectors again. It appears that the fuel is coming from the center section of the injector.

I have a similar problem--replaced the fuel lines but still have a small amount of leakage around the injectors. Someone here on this forum advised me that my problem is probably from the prechamber collars pictured here:

I was told that I may be able to torque them tighter with the injectors, but that I would likely have to remove the injectors, grind a homemade tool from a socket that fits the grooves, and tighten them that way. I haven't attempted to do this yet, but I just wanted to let you know. If you search "prechamber" in the "parts" section, You'll see prechamber collars and rings (I'm not sure if the rings are potential culprits or not). Also, there are injector heat shields that I suspect may contribute to leakage problems.

....But, I just reread your last post and saw that you stated that the leakage seems to be coming from the center of the injectors. So, maybe it's not the collars...
