i've heard rumours that there is a "special interest club" for M-B diesel enthusiasts/fans. anyone KNOW about it??? (in the even that there is NOT such a club now, let's START one.)

fwiw, i just yesterday bought a (2-owner) pearl white/gray 300sd, with NO rust (around here that's a RARE BIRD) & 274K. it has "several little issues" that i'd like to discuss with a KNOWLEDGEABLE 300SD owner.

also, does anyone publish a "haynes-type" book book on 300SDs?? (Haynes does NOT have a book on the SD & there are several major differences, i'm told, between the 300D & SD)

finally, does anyone have either a 85 SD owners manual for sale OR who would make me a "xerox" copy???
