Question Electric Fuel Pump

I have a 1975 Mercedes 115 auto trans. My question is: did they use a fuel pump that year for my diesel 240D? Also where can I buy a decent manual for this year?I looked every where, can't find no pump

No. There is a lift pump on the injection pump that pulls the fuel up.

There are a few options for manuals. The Full Service Manual is the most complete. But the paper copies are expensive but can be found on Ebay pretty often. The other options are a Haynes or Chiltons manual. A little more basic but still have lots of good info.

Yes. Full would make one believe it covered everything and never needed updating or edits etc. And that it would cover things like transmissions.
