Secondary Fuel Filter ???

Having trouble getting proper size filter. Wix 33149 / NAPA 3149 ok. About 2 15/16 dia. Purolator 50359, Bosch 1457434153 too big. About 3 1/4 dia.
I just got the Bosch from ******** AZ. My '82 300D also used the smaller diameter filter, but some places list the larger one for that car too.
Trying to find an inexpensive filter. Thanks

I use Hengst H31WK01 filters available at *********************** You can also click "buy parts" on this site to buy Bosch or Mahle filters. All these are under ten bucks...

Filters

Checked the "BUY PARTS". Don't know about the Mahle, but the Bosch is just like the one sitting in front of me. TOO BIG. Think I'll stick to getting this item in person. Thanks for the info.

Do you have a photo of what's on your engine, the Bosch fits on mine? What's "too big," the threads, the outside diameter?

Filter

Yes, it must fit some. The first time I got stuck on road. Went to put new Purolator on, and O.D. too big. You could look down the bolt hole from above and see that the bolt couldn't go into filter.

Very strange, is it the original engine and/or filter housing? Photos would help.

Either one of these, the KC 22 is a Mahle, fit both of mine. This is the SD.
