Pry up the metal clips that run along the edge. They just snap on and off.

Don't worry, it's meaty glass. Just put a flathead screwdriver under the center of the clips and gently pry.

It only takes me two minutes to remove the lights ..

I need to figure out how water or w/e got in there

I wonder if when I clean it and seal it if some of those silica packets tossed in it will help

Not sure but you want to keep it dry in there or your reflectors will tarnish and the base metal will rust. I have an example of this.
Started with a rock chip.

Got dark looking inside.

Damage found after opening it.

I don't have experience with their w123 lights, but Depo brand euro lights have a rep for using cheap rubber or foam seals on their lenses. When you add that to the not-quite-right lines of the plastic housings (they are copies after all) you get air and water past the seals, especially if you live somewhere that is either sunny or humid.
They're certainly great lights for the price, I'm not disparaging them too much, just pointing out the potential trouble spots. Our 30 year old Bosch/Hella seals are in need of replacement too.

I would try to get new Mercedes seals:
1 Between the lenses and the headlight body
2 The seal for the bulb cover.
A good large rubber supply house or classic car restoration supply might be able to find equivalent seals cheaper too.

My Bosch Euro's do that when it rains. I find that if I use my headlights AND fog lights, the condensation dries out. I wish I could find where it comes from.

Where can I find new seals?

mine don't dry out.. it rains a good bit during the summer here..

The right side has at least a cup of water in it... Probably from all those big puddles that grace the wonderful roads here in Polk County FL...

I'll drain it and dry it and see how it does..

I wish I had some black paint so I could do the fins on them while I had them apart... next time

Where do you get those?
Is it possible to just swap em out with the standard style?
How much do they cost?

Maybe you could try throwing a small anti desiccant pack in there to keep the fog from forming?

Just a though

the DEPO W124 euro's would get condensation after rain or a car wash. I had to re-seal them with clear silicone. Never had the problem after that.
