I catched a look at a 79 300sd in the salvage yard today with turbo ,it had a born on date of 1/79 .It probably died from carbon buildup from what the injectors were telling .The exterior and interior were in good shape ,I wish I could of got it before it ended up at the boneyard,they wont let a whole car leave the lot after its dropped off ,shame too,Ive seen so many that could of been contenders for revival back to the road.
