Combo switch ?!?!
Tell me if I'm wrong here, but do I not have to remove the steering wheel on a 126,1983 to replace a combo switch?

You must remove the steering wheel to replace that combo switch. It's not all that bad to do.........just make sure that you DO NOT use the steering lock for counter torque.

On a 126, yes.

Use a piece of wood I used a 2x4 cut to length with some old carpeting on the ends to put up against the wheel spokes. That way you can bear down on the nut without breaking the wheel lock.
