Hey check this out!

I was on the Belt Parkway in Brooklyn NY last week and lo and behold saw this and snapped some pics to share with you. Does it belong to anyone here? Looks like a real workhorse.

I dunno whether that's cool or disgustingly ugly. Odd, certainly.

The hood of the vehicle you snapped those pics from doesn't appear to be that of a MB....?

I don't know what to say about that....I suppose you could look at it that they destroyed a car....but then again its still on the road doing something useful....and it may have been in tired shape to begin with, and not worth restoring....oh well. Sad to see.

What? You want to haul building supplies, but you don't have a truck? No problem!

Holy crap, that is simply amazing. I'd have never believed it without seeing photos. It's disturbing, but I can't stop looking at the photos. Much like that weird show my friend gets a kick out of watching that has the home videos of people getting all messed up while trying to do stupid stunts on bikes and skateboards. It's like watching a train wreck happening.

He was driving real slow (about 45 mph) and this thing looked sad. I'd say it is beyond beater status. There were no badges that I could see but the good thing is I don't think it's a diesel. It's one of the big body SEL's?

The front and middle mounts go right through the body, so I wonder how much weight is can really hold.

I've been tempted to do something like that for the hell or it with an old beater, make a real road dog out of it! I had a picture of a 126 up on a 4 wheel drive frame that was wild looking. I think the car in question is a short body 126, look at the rear window, the strip between the glass is all chrome, on the SELs the strip is wider with a strip of paint inbetween the chrome. But alas that one is probably giving it's best for the last leg of it's life.

Looks like something from a 3rd world country

I saw a 1949 Chevrolet aeroback with a setup like this once in an industrial area of Lima, Peru.
