Non Stopper 200D

My 200D dosen't want to stop. I've put a line straight to the diaphram on the IP and it will stop when I suck. When I suck on the line attached to the main vacuum line the engine will not stop, only falter a little. However if the car is in D (auto gear box) then the engine will stop. I suspect the valve at the back of the key barrel but hopefully some one else may have a better suggestion.

All the door locks work but the boot will not lock with the central locking.

Auto or Manual climate control?

Do the obvious leak tests first...cap off the doors, the climate control, then both at the same time and see if that fixes the problem.

Then, suck on the line going to the throttle cut-off itself. If that doesn't do it, then the cut-off switch is bad and will need to be replaced.

Sounds like you have a vacuum leak.

I elected myself to point out the obvious. Comes from having oblivious teenagers.
