I alternate between petro diesel and biodiesel, depending on which is cheaper. When biodiesel is cheaper, I'll typically fill with B99, though it'll prob be B50 or B75 at the intial fillup, depending on how much petrol diesel is still in the tank at the time of intial fillup. When petro diesel is cheaper, I'll run a full blend. Depending on how much biodiesel might still be in the tank, it usually takes me a fillup or two to get back to pure petro diesel after switching from B99 to petro diesel. I like the quietness and smoothness of biodiesel, but prefer the energy content and better fuel mileage of petrol diesel.

Most of the fuel that I use is purchased at a truck stop. The fuel at this location is B5. When I am in Defiance, OH I will fill at a Marathon that has B20. Two years ago I ran my E300 and one of my 300D's on commercial B100 for several months. Both cars ran over 7,000 miles on B100 without interruption. I really like how they ran on B100. No issues, whatsoever. I have heard of signification power lose using B100. I could not tell a perceptible difference. I purchased the B100 using 55 gallon drums. It was a lot of work that my back had little tolerance for.

Using 100% dinosaur juice right now. I will be trying the commercially available B100 in West Virginia soon. I will try my hand at making B100 next spring

The fuel in my 300D is probably from when the car was last driven...in 2001.

My sentiments exactly.

Today, Millie has B30 or thereabouts. On average I've been running B50.

Reminds me, time to run out and fill the cans with BD - I'm down to what's in the tank.

I have been running 100% WVO in the summer and 80% WVO with 20% supreme gas in the winter. Have been doing this for years with no problems. Everything is stock as well. No Mods.

B100 homebrew 2-1/2 to 3 seasons of the year now for 3 years, 36k miles. Now that we have snow and below freezing at night, I've got B80. Maybe have to go to B50 with Arctic Express for Jan-Feb.

I use SVO (not waste oil) in the SD. Wasn't a choice in the poll.

AFIK SVO has no cleaning properties... Bio does, but not SVO...
personally, I use petro, on the rare moon when I am near a value b20 station I will toss that in. I am flirting with WVO/SVO, but have not tried it as of yet.

Where do you find cheap enough SVO to make it economically feasable???

If it's had fries in it it's WVO. SVO is outa'da'jug at 1.35 litre for Canola oil currently.

Right now Dino Diesel.....but in my travels B100 and B20 when I get near a place listed with the BioDiesel Board's Dealer listing by State.

For you guys blending WVO and gasoline......any problems with the 10% ethanol now in the gasoline? (ethanol contains water....)
Although...I think I mentioned in an old post that I once poured a half bottle of Jack Daniels into one of my SDs and it did not skip a beat......good thing for my cars I don't drink anymore!
