All the ones I ever see are for V8`s also. might have to do some
measurements and design your own. Or revamp a V8 one.

know of a guy that useto make them until the Taiwan junk flooded the
market. his were made with higher quality.

Howdy Charlie;

Exactly - prefer to spend more on quality than Asian inferior readily available

I see some universal that say they will fit a 4cyl yet the support post looks like it will cut into oil pan flange

Maybe Craigslist will save the day

I hate to admit how easy this was, ... but for my spare 603 and transmission, I cut a couple of 4x4s, put a 2x4 across each end, drilled four swivel-casters into where the wood overlaps, and the engine oil pan nestles nicely between the 4x4s with the engine mounts and transmission tailshaft mount on the wood.

Makes it easy to move around until I decide what to do with it.

About $00 from scrap around the garage and in less time than driving to Harbor Freight to buy one.

Howdy BabyMog:

You genius you - I was looking at the oil pan - right now I have engine resting in a junk tire as makeshift cradle - and wondered if I could just use a furniture dolly

So I think tomorrow I will build me a 4x4 cradle - thanks for the inspiration
