How do you undo these hose clamps?
Take a look at the pic, how do you get these off?

I have success with a flat head screwdriver; put it into the slot that is crimped and twist hard. then toss them and use regular clamps.

Any way you do it they get destroyed in the process of removal, so you'll want some new clamps to replace them with. Sometimes a pair of big wire cutters will cut through them. You want to go perpendicular to the direction that it was crimped though. Screwdivers work as well.

I've never had a car in such good shape that I couldn't just pull the old hose out and slip a new hose in without touching the clamps. Eventually the fitting looks and feels so crummy that I replace it and forget about clamps.

Cut the fitting and replace it. With a new one you really shouldn't need clamps.
