your top choice conversion?

Inspired by the LWB w116 diesel thread, what would be your choice for a dream conversion? (gasser to diesel, auto to manual, etc.) - but the catch is that it's got to be one that is extrememly POSSIBLE to do.

Perhaps a 606 turbo in a W126 SEC body with nice sized AMG wheels and a 5 speed manual (or a 6 speed)....and a black exterior and black cloth interior color scheme, inside and out. With euro lights and a performance chip upgrade on the engine. Now THAT would be my dream ride. Wow...that'd just be so awesome.

I agree, a W140 with a 606 turbo would be incredible. On that car I'd be fine with an auto tranny. Someday I will have a W140....but I want it to be a V12.

A coupé W123 or a W107 with a 2.7L or 3.0 L sprinter diesel. The sprinter drivetrain is available in the USA and that would yield a nice zippy super-diesel!

No conversion necessary, they already exist. My choice is split between a RennTech tuned E420 CDI or a C30 CDI AMG wagon.
