Curvy wire that connects glow plugs

Hi. I have a 1981 300D. Can anyone tell me what is the curvy wire (thick wire that resembles an upside-down "W") that seems to connect the glow plugs? I need one or two replacement parts for this, so if you could tell me the official name or part #, I appreciate it. Is it some type of resistor?
