123 body Sunrood Assembly
 Hello - I got myself in a bind, I just restored the body of a 1984 300 TD, and am trying to get the sunroof front seal and side seals on. I purchased an assembly DVD's, and they are not at all detailed in this area. I did bag the screws and parts (like the rest of the car), but am struggling with how the side felts and metal tracks go in. Does anyone have a schematic on this? I should have taken a picture of this... Thanks.

If you enroll in EPC online, you will be able to view the parts diagram for the sunroof. On my 240D, there are rails that the felt strips have to be gently forced into. Perform a forum search on sunroof conversion, Bruce Kennedy has some pretty good pics.
