is some kerosene ok for winter

i was running wvo in my $500.00 78 300d. It went kaput for other reasons. My 85td is too nice to take a chance with wvo though, So i started making biodiesel. Seems pretty well accepted that it is not harmful. Anyway the gel point seems to be higher. Some charts I have seen say that cutting my b100 with 20% kerosene will keep me good to 16F, which should be fine for central virginia. Is this ok ?
