Still using our deodorant here in Florida.
No block heaters required!!
Yet I went to college in Vermont and I remember using a hair dryer to crank the Karman Ghia.
You guys take care up thar and remember "bridges freeze before roads"
It was the frost heaves that got us. A college buddy was on a Greyhound that hit a huge "frost heave" was thrown in the air and landed over the seat back and "burst" his kidney. OUCH

Well anyway thank goodness AL GORE invented the internet so we could all stay in touch even though he discovered GLOBAL WARMING.

Now wait,,, it makes no sense....

Hole in the ozone ... Heat rises.... Heck all the heat would go out the hole in the ozone....huhh??

You folks take care up thar!!

Remember the reason for the season!!!

While he didn't invent the Internet (that would be DARPA), do you recall what the internet was like in the late eighties and early nineties? No? Weren't connected? Unless you were in the military or a faculty member of a university, you probably had not even heard of it. Gore was instrumental in bringing it to the rest of you.

I do like the hole in the ozone comment though.

As for the reason for the season, I already went shopping!

Forced: That pic looks similar to what it looks like here, minus some snow cover.

Jeremy: The name sounds familiar but I don't know her. If I ever meet her, though, I'll have to thank her for the advice I've gotten from you. You saved my bacon a year ago this month with your axle replacement pictorial....

Have a good night from the icy heartland,

Chris

That reminds me, did you ever hear GWB's sound-bite about "the internets"? Funny stuff.

When I used to live in Tulsa, it never seemed to snow. We just had ice storms. Watching cars on the road in that was somewhat like automotive ballet.

Heck yes we got some ice here. I go to the University of Oklahoma and a good deal of the trees on campus look like that. Its sad. It was such a beautiful campus but now probably at least half the trees will have to come down. We had an unusual amount of ice storms last year and there's snow right on the heals of this ice so I think I'm going to break down and buy some snow chains.
