"Compression In A Bottle" Products?

I was at Autozone the other day and saw a few cans of stuff to the effect of "Compression in a Bottle"

"Uses high-shear polymers to seal piston rings, reducing blow-by and increasing compression. For use in all gasoline and diesel engines."

My engine has some blow-by...the stuff is supposed to get added to engine oil at any time.

What do you guys think about them?

I figured I'd ask here before I did something stupid.
