injection pump compatibility

will an IP from a 1981 300D replace one in a 1984300TD?

turbo, or non turbo.. thats all that really matters, and the ammount of cylinders too

1981 240d (engine donor 1983 240d) recently rebuilt engine hurray! - No more.. fought a tree and the tree won.

pearl black 1983 240d 4speed (Converted!@$$%) atleast the tranny was rebuilt.

It will bolt up ok and run but I don't think it will adjust the fuel as the boost comes up.

Remember TD means Wagon, not turbo in mercedes. So it could be N/A or turboed for either of them.

Yea, but if it is a US spec '84 300TD it should be turboed.

Ah. i thought they came N/A also?or were they not going to make the same mistake like they did with the 240d? ;D

300TD Turbo is the recepient,

Thanks for the feedback everyone, as I understand it, the Donor car must be a Turbo to replace the IP in my 300TD Turbo
