A/c Won't Turn Off
Normally this wouldn't be a problem but it has been cold here in Fl. for the past few days.
This AM everything was fine. My 87 TD has been driving so well since I got the tranny adjusted. Heat was blasting, stereo cranked,head in the clouds-heaven. Then this afternoon I'm heading home and all of the sudden the A/C comes on all by itself. No matter what I do I can't get it to shut off. What in Heck is going on here! I feel like Frosty the Snowman. Help Please with any ideas.

I had the same thing in my '87, replaced the CCU and all was well. Common failure mode in the non-Bosch CCU.
Did it change when you turned it off and back on again?
