I mis-spoke. Delivery date, not prod date.

B Pillar on mine is labeled 10/98 and I think is not a prod date. Was raining too hard to stand around and read the whole thing but I think it may be a date of the sticker or a set of regs in place for a certain amount of production. Will have to look closer when isnt raining so hard.

The mm/yy date on the B pillar is the production date. (7.10.98 would be October 7th, not July 10th).

is there a day component on the b-pillar or just a mm/yy component. By the vin number on the door-jam it shows the mm/yy, is the b-pillar designation any different? are you referring the door jam sticker with the vin?

I'll buy that. Wasn't thinking Euro date format.

Correction on mine. I just checked the data plate this morning and it is a February, 1999 build date.
