Would you buy this car?

http://reno.craigslist.org/car/510984169.html

He might have better luck on Ebay, since he mentioned the holy keyword "bio".

Well for one, he doesnt know the difference between wvo and biodiesel. Plus i dont know what hes talking about, stepping out into an intersection in one? I pull from green lights all the time...It doesnt matter if you have the slowest car on earth, how is it scary? You just piss people off at most. Also 300k is alot for $3000. Plus it has a wvo kit which sucks.

Non heated WVO kit, electric radiator fan, no clutch fan, A.C. removed, Wade "performance" intake, 300,000miles and sounds like it has acceleration issues. Sounds like this guy is a newbie that jumped into the car for free fuel, hacked it up and is offloading the problems on somebody else. $1500 at the very most, $1000 realistically.

That's more of a rant than an ad for a car.

Excuse me sir, I speak redneck...

He says he's adjusted the ALDA and she "steps out" (accelerates briskly) from stop lights. If this is not done (adjust ALDA) these cars are scary to cross an intersection in.

I like the way he consistently misspells the word "diesel" as diesiel. I agree that he sounds like a redneck who doesn't know what he's doing. I feel sorry for the car.

Hmm, I just noticed the listing is flagged for removal. I wonder if the seller read our commentary.

Tonight when I get home I'll see if that listing is still in my browser cache. If so, I'll paste it here for all to see.

I'e gone through all the b.s. to run this on bio diesiel and she runs great! New front shocks. New T-stat and coolant. New switch activated pusher puller fans clutch fan is gone more mpg. This is the one w the good head and block she runs strong at 300k. Most stuff like analog clock washer squirters still work. High output glow plugs. Car has NO A.C. removed for fan system I'm an enthusiast of bio diesiel. Wade performance intake. 3 sets of fuel filters to go through the !@#$ of running bio diesiel. I have Lubro Molly purged the injectors, fuel pump, and engine which is a royal pain. Has a huge water seporator inline too. This car just needs some heaters for wvo. The ALDA valve is turned up a bit but i have not touched the waste gate.so she will step out at a stop light if need be these cars are scarry to cross an intersection if this is not done! if intrested call me at (775)690-5872 too many projects.

Sales 101, you won't sell your car by telling people what a @#$!@ing pain it is.

The "huge water seporator inline" tells me enough about what he's not doing to his wvo before dumping in. No thanks.

I do wish my analog clock washer squirter still worked, however. I clean mine by hand.

hmm, actually that sounds like a good car.
it just says he changed the fuel lines, and went through the trouble of dealing with a dirty tank that got cleaned out well and plugged up his filters when he started running bio diesel. it says you COULD run WVO if you wanted to add in some heaters.

I don't know about that. It sounds like he already went through 3 filters to run unheated WVO. Plus, there's no AC and some "performance" intake, and judging by his spelling ability, ignorance on biodiesel vs. VO, and the "royal pain" to do Diesel Purge (which isn't painful at all if you know what you're doing) the car sure sounds like it's been hacked up by a fool. What the heck are analog clock washer squirters anyway?
