My door locks will lock but wont unlock??

I have a 1979 300D. Its a minor problem, but there must be an easy fix. My doors/trunk wont lock automatically, but all will unlock automatically. Is this a simple problem? Thanks!!! Happy Hollidays!

If you shut off the car with the doors locked, then try to unlock them will they unlock? You likely have a vacuum leak in the system which allows the vacuum to leak while the doors are locked so there is no vacuum left to un-lock them after the car has been sitting. Buy a Mity-vac and start testing!

well it could be the driver's door vacuum switch, or any of the diaphrams in any of the unlock circuits. or a vacuum connector or ... etc... I agree. mityvac.
