Archeologists in the year 3000 unearth an ancient automobile museum near the ruins of Stuttgart, Germany. Only one vehicle survived.

Many of you have more wit than I.

Robot archaeologists find rare non-hover craft in ruins

A team of robotic archaeologists have found the remains of a rare non-hover craft while exploring the remains of Stuttgart, which was destroyed by rioters in 2009 after a Kraftwerk concert went terribly wrong. After careful research, the non-hover craft was determined to be a "Mercedez", presumably named after a late 20th century porn star. This "W123" variant is presumed to be one of the few "Mercedez" vehicles still remaining and will be fully restored, and placed into the "Dr. Z museum for non-hover craft" in New Quantum Stuttgart.

Come on, most of us have read enough for-sale ads to know how often the odometer only recently stopped working!

lietuviai 01-26-2008 12:53 AM

Just needs a little TLC...

A vin check confirms the last owner of the Mercedes was none other than Jimmy Hoffa. Police hope dental records will identify remains found in the trunk.

This car has some minor rust spots but overall it's a beautiful old classic Mercedes, and remember, these cars will go forever.

Slight body damage, my mechanic said not to worry about it.

kerry 01-26-2008 12:43 PM

Historians generally agree, that it was George Bush's final act in the waning days of his administration that left this Mercedes as the sole remnant of civilization between the Mediteranean and the Caspian Seas.

Dee8go 01-26-2008 12:52 PM

Runs great. Has a few rust spots on the right rear fender . . . .

Jim B. 01-26-2008 01:01 PM

Mint condition. (If you live in Atlantis).

Comes with the West Virginia guarantee: If it breaks in half, you get to keep both halves.

W123 owner goes too far in his quest to soak up the ubiquitous fluid leaks...

Sbean 01-26-2008 02:39 PM

May have slight leakage around sandroof.

CA-Rick 01-26-2008 02:49 PM

Obviously, 'BJ & the Mercedes' went straight to video.

truckinik 01-26-2008 03:03 PM

I don't think I would necessarily say that that particular Mercedes "Survived" anything.

"Gunther awoke that October morning in a strange bed in a strange apartment, with a terribly nagging feeling and a pounding, throbbing headache. He heard a voice humming in the shower... a strange voice. He vaguely recalled consuming at least 4 or 5 steins of Bittburger's finest, followed by 6 or 8 shots of something ending in "meister". Was it that young fraulein in the tight jeans and blue shirt who had suggested a romantic visit to the shore to watch the moon rise? The last thing he remembered was thinking that the sound of the surf was very soothing..."

CA-Rick 01-26-2008 03:35 PM

When you said that you could crap anything...........well my hats off to you!

Willie's idea of making a sand rail from a 300D didn't quite turn out like he imagined it would.

That has to be a result of the old "Hold my beer and watch this!"

Sorry I'm late to the game here. But here goes.

That Moroccan cabbie said he could get us to Lisbon quickly but that undertow was ridiculous.
