it kinda sucks the passenger mirror doesn't adjust to where you need it. I need a new piece of "objects closer etc" glass since mine is total crap

I just can't stand not having a mirror over there. I got one on China is short order!
I also have two extras so I guess I need to post in the parts forum....

Hard to believe that was an option on cars back in the day. Of course with the visualization afforded by the 123's design you can drive safely without it. I feel trapped in newer cars. My wife's Prius has three mirrors and a backup camera and I need all of them to back up. I feel like I've got a 360 degree view in the 240/300.

Your car is beautiful. I'm going to do the same thing on my 300D before I let my son start driving it.

Nice garage! Well organized; perfect little workshop. Oh, the car looks good too.

The PO had put some kind of stick-on convex mirror over the glass on my right mirror; I took it off and tossed it, I hate those convex things because you can't judge distance.

From my years of driving trucks of different types, I use the mirror on the
cars all the time. my eyes click on the right mirror automatically. I like
the small round mirror, it picks up a vehicle that you might not see. on the
trucks the round might be 6 to 12 in wide. now I know that would look
rediculous on my MB.

The small little stick on mirrors are a joke, time I get my eyes focused on
one it`s too late. and they are in a fixed position.
I have stick on mirrors that are rectangular, they have a stick on base.
the back of the mirror has a ball, and the base has a socket. the two
just snap together and this way it is adjustable.

I like the flat right mirror, the mirrors that say the "objects appear closer
than they are" are a PITA.

I agree with the newer cars being hard to see out of, feel like Iam
sitting in a hole.

Gator, you have a nice looking 123. as long as there is Pick N Pull, we
can get all of these little options that were never ordered when new.

I've seen that car in person and it is really nice! I've been looking for a manual passenger side mirror for my 300 TD. If anyone has one, please let me know. Also, I'm really missing Diamondhead. Glad to see you posting more.
