Anybody know this?

I looking for tachometer with my mb`81 300D.
can I install this tachometer with my mb?

depends.. if its from an 85 you're going to need the EGR computer and related info..

if its not and a prior year then you will need the tach amp aka trash can and related wiring

did your 81 come with a tach? if not, you are going to need the mag pickup from the balancer, and the tach amp, and the wiring to the tach.
the tach in the picture is from an 81-83 123. so you would need a parts car in that range to match the missing parts to your car.

there were three HP ratings on the OM616...

1) Not much power
2) Even less power
3) Not nearly enough power!! 240D w/auto

Anyone that thinks a 240D is slow drives too fast.

On the back it has an 82 rubber stamp, and it's a two pronger plug on the back, will work on early set ups, the amp, connected to the sensor that is magnetic that picks up the signal from the front crank. You may have that sensor line there already, yet ends in a different plug.
The later tachs have three prong plug.
