82 300cd with a 560 motor swap -ebay

Its in tarpon ,Florida.Not your grandparents 300,search the mb catagory for 300cd ,its a yellow paint code.

The coupe is 2 to 300# lighter than an SL so it should step smartly. I hope he swapped in the limited slip too.

IMPO taking a diesel body and putting a gasoline engine in it, regardless of how large of a V8 it is... hasn't really improved it.

Diesel in a gas body, on the other hand... great improvement

Well, yeah, but as a hobby car it would be fun.

The six point nine would probably fit too but that would be seriously heavier than the diesel wouldn't it?

And a lot more stuff there to keep up.

Damn, that looks like a fun car! Plus, in CT with a diesel VIN it would be completely exempt from any emissions inspections or testing.
