Will 190D 2.5 Fan Clutch fit 300D 2.5?
The 201 (190D 2.5) viscous fan clutch
part # is 6032000022 Reason: MB has "UPGRADED" part # for the 300D (602.962 engine)FAN CLUTCH WHICH forces you to buy a new "FAN" and 3 new clutch to fan "BOLTS". TOTAL COST: New Clutch, New Fan, New Bolts $650.00++ USD. How can you be made to feel stupid by an automobile manufacturer's overseas distributor machinations 18 years after the initial production date of the automobile? Ask any Mercedes owner. |

The 602 turbo specific fan and clutch is super expensive. The much cheaper 606 plastic fan+clutch works just as well.
606 200 00 22 for the clutch 606 200 00 23 for the plastic fan (3) N 914020 006017 for the bolts I don't think the metal fan works with the 606 clutch so you'll have to get the plastic fan too. MB might have a fan/clutch assembly, but EPC wasn't totally clear as to a specific kit part number. The 606 fan and clutch assembly also can be bought on Fastlane for around $350.
