BMW 325 Turbo Diesel - good car?

Local outfit has recently imported and is selling a 92 BMW 325 Turbo diesel 5 speed, low kms. I know 325's are reputed to be good cars, but don't know anything about the reliability of the 6 cyl turbo-diesel in them. DOes anyone have knowledge about these? THanks.

Probably as good or better quality than the gasser with better fuel economy.

No personal experience, though.

BMW 325 diesel

Would be concerned about availability of parts. Imported the car from Japan or Europe?? It seems all imports from Japan have low mileage and no records.

Yeah I had the same thought (parts availability). It was evidently imported from Germany. I may go look at it just for curiosity, look at the condition of the vehicle, see if there are records. Mileage seems suspect (less than 100k kms) for a 92 diesel....
