I doubt that will extend the GP life significantly. Having the post-glow relay does seem to shorten their life, but the are cheap and easy to replace on a 61x so it doesn't really matter.

Yeah, I altered my original post to reflect the change. What I was talking about, was warm after it's been run for a bit, not just by warmer weather.
