1980 240D w123 Vacuum - Diagram or pics needed.

I am highly suspect that my recently acquired '80 240D vacuum is completely routed wrong, car is suffering with fast shifting through all gears to fourth by about 15mph, most the time it just briefly shifts into 2nd, and then immediately into 3rd. The car has an '82 engine in it. I will try and post pics of the current setup soon to diagnose. In the meanwhile, there is a single vacuum line running from booster hose T straight to throttle switch Left nipple on top of valve cover, the other front right inlet nipple (closest to little plastic lever) is capped. The nipple on the back of the switch is going straight to the top of the vacuum control valve. There is no dashpot to be found anywhere. Pressure is reading about 24hg throughout with apparent good seal.

The diagrams on Peter Schmid are down, i need a diagram or perhaps some pics of a working system and start experimenting. Can anyone help??
