While rebuilding all 4 regulators... rubber question.

Every piece of rubber on my doors is old, cracked and in need of replacement. I have a source for the dooor seals but i cant find window seals anywhere! Is the dealership the only place i can source these?

Consider yourself lucky. When MY regulator failed in the drivers door last time, we found so much rust in the base of the door that there wasn't much left to attach the window to. Had to stick the thing back in with a blob of kitty hair just to hold the blasted thing together for a little longer.

Don't remember if it was the regulator or something else, come to think of it. I THINK it was the regulator, whatever it was it attached at the bottom of the door. Dang thing is out again now, this time that gear thing that moves the window up and down has a tooth worn off of it.

IDK what I'll do when that spreads a little :-(

My rear window regulators are both bad. The teeth at the top and bottom are worn and rusty. I thought I had read something about somebody repairing them, but I don't see how. This must be a pretty common problem. The windows slip down from the vibration of the car.
