Anyone want to resurrect a w116?

I know a guy who has a 1980 300sd with no engine, tranny may be good he does not know. California. Anyone interested? Delivery valve? I know he wanted my 300sd but I got to it first

Wont sell you the car unless you convert it. Poor 240d. What a damn shame.

The Craigslist add just says he wants you to run it on BioD. No conversion needed. Tell him you will run it on good B100 and buy it. Once it is yours do what you want

Temping if the price is right. But I really want a cheap w126 (your 126 kind of cheap) with an excellent interior. I have a line on one right now, but we'll see where it goes.

BTW - I saw in another thread that you are going use some freeze12.. If you need some PM me I have eight cans I want to unload.

I may need some, I have two cans im going to use to op of the r12 in my 300d. Theres still a little pressure in there so Im thinking I can just dump some in with their oil and the system will work again. As for the sd, Im going to have to make a custom ac thing, probably out of brazing copper pipes. Im not sure though, and Ill need a few cans.

Exactly what I would do. I'd drive away and fill it up with Dino at the nearest station.
