Power Seat Replacement

The seats in my 83 300SD are totally shot and need to be replaced.

I have access to seats from a 420.

Does anyone know if the front power seats are a compatible replacement for the ones in my 300SD?

Are you replacing both the driver's and passenger seat? My guess it it will work. If you use a passenger seat for a driver seat then you need to reuse the frame (motors, etc.) off of the passenger seat because of the glide that the seat beat slide reinforcing thingy goes thru. Its riveted on the frame.

I recently took a passenger seat out of a 560SEL and am using it for my driver's seat in my 300SDL.

Pulled the seats from the 420 and put them into my '83 300SD.

Now for the Good and the Bad:

Good:
- The seats are new and look much better!
- The seats bolt right in.

Bad:
- The power seat plugs are different (and incompatible)
- The Seat Belt Recepticles (the part you plug the seat belt into) are different sizes.

Any Ideas of what I can do?
