Is tranny adjustment a DIY project?

The trans is fine but shifts harder than it should. I understand it could be a vacuum issue. I want to know if it is something i can adjust myself.

Jen-
Sure you can. I can't summerize it for you very well in a post but you can test your vacuum control valve on your IP and adjust the modulator on the side of your transmission to fix that kind of problem. There is more info on here than you care to read about. Just do some searching on "modulator" and vacuum control valve" for starters.
