Interior Refreshing Needs

I'd like to begin by thanking the forum owner and moderators for the wealth of information you are so generous to share. The door panel removal and instrument cluster removal articles are great in their detail. Great translations of MB Tech language to English!

I am driving a 1995 E 300 Diesel with 197000 miles.

The rear height adjustor for my driver's seat only works on the door side. I recently unbolted and tilted the seat back and tested all the seat switch operations and found that the front motor only operates the shaft for the door side... not both aspects of the seat height adjustment.

Does this forum represent a parts supplier? I'd be very interested in working with them.

Does the forum have resources or references as to the procedure to remove and replace this motor? Is a special tool required to remove the shafts from the motor? Normally I can take things apart and put them back together using all the pieces that were removed but this seat repair has me plain and simple baffled.

Some other things I'd like to refresh in this car's interior:

The interior color is called "Parchment", MB's paint number is 260.

Is it worth the effort to remove and re-glue a sagging headliner or better to order a complete replacement?

Where can I acquire the foam backed vinyl to re-cover a door post? My driver's side door post was damaged in an accident prior to my buying the car. It appears that there has been shrinking of the fabric.

I'm interested in getting sheepskins for the front seats and would be interested in finding a provider that stocks my "parchment" color. To date I have been unable to find a source. I'd like the "exact fit" sheeps for the seats and headrests.

The center armrest (containing an old style analog phone) is deteriorated. It looks like it is constructed of injection molded foam which is also breaking down... any sources for material or a replacement part?

Does anyone have any ideas on the elimination of the analog phone replacing it with a cradle to hold my blackberry allowing me to use the existing MB hands free system??

Thanks for your time.

Best regards,

Pete (Wilmington, NC)
