I got a 240d auto tranny mount if you don't have one already. I'll send it to you if you want it.

Good luck and have fun with the conversion!

The 300D auto mount won`t work? maybe it sits up too high? Or are you refering to the steel cross member mount?

I have 4 of the 240D auto cross mounts. I have the eng in now with the manual trans and have it bolted in. I pulled it 3-8 and got it back in 3-16.

I waitd too long to order parts, should have ordered before I started the project, so part came in of fri and the rest on mon. naturally the clutch parts came in on mon so waisted the weekend.
Ordered everything from Phill. only way to go.

Found a hot rod shop and got them to check the flywheels. the auto off by 10grams and the manual off by 3 grams. then had it resurfaced. this is the only place in Santa Cruz that does this.

Leaving tonight for Portland, Or. Daughters baby shower and BD. so the car is on hold for a week driving the old Datsun PU, but at least it is a Diesel . I can race the 240D`s . they have an advantage, Iam onlu 60 HP.

1985 300D automatic to manual transmission, using 220D (vin# 11511010041125) parts.
