A/C compressor squeak

I searched the forum with no luck at all.

My compressor, or clutch, squeaks/squeals when it cycles off (or I hit the off button on ACC). Anyone have this happen to them? It's about a 1-2 second noise. A/C is working fine. I just hate hearing this noise. Is it an early sign of something about to fail?
Thanks, in advance!

It might just be a loose or worn belt. Are the belts adjusted correctly, when was the last time they were replaced?

I'll check the belts, but it happens right after the clutch makes a slight clicking noise then stops spinning.

It would be nice if the compressor had a belt tensioner like the power steering pump.
Those AC belts need to be REAL tight.
