Aux Fan(s) fused relays

This is one for A. Dalton or S. Brotherton.

Looking at the schematic for the '90 300D...

When N22(The ACC pushbutton unit) provides a ground to pole # 85 of the
K9 relay (stage II , High speed auxiliary fan) the Energizing power for the
Magnetic (Pull In) side of the relay is provided by Fuse #7 [16 amps] to
pole # 86.

(The present relay in the K9 position is a 40 amp non-fused ?)

Allegedly the replacement is 001 542 9619 a 30 amp fused relay.

Why such a high amperage fused relay on an essentially 16 amp circuit?

What I want is someone to tell me I can use 002 542 0119 a 15 amp fused relay.
(And that it will not "Blow" every two minutes)

Option would be a 20 amp fused relay(I do not know the Part # for that one
AND would really appreciate it if someone would provide it)

The same relay(002 542 0119, 15 amp fused) is used in the K10 (low speed
auxiliary fan) position.

My k10 position is occupied by a 20/30 amp (What in the heck is that?)
non-fused relay [again on an essentially 16 amp circuit].I think I recall AD
stating that a 25 amp fused relay had been approved for that position
by MB.(Anybody have the Part # for the 25 amp fused, four pin relay?)

Looking at the Schematic more closely... the K9 relay load side is powered
directly from the battery positive by X4/10...If the fan(s) were to Go South
and overload the relay [and that is assuming the wiring between the relay
and Fan(s) didn't catch fire or melt]...Would/Could the relay incinerate the
fuse box and associated equipment? The "Pull" side of K9 would still be
merrily transferring electrons from fuse #7 to the ACC unit until the
"Meltdown" occurred .
(I am moving K9 out to the driver's side wheel house , unless I can fuse
between X4/10 and K9)

Here's the funny part, all this has been happily working for neigh on 19 years
...And I can find no signs of a previous conflagration.
