where is the expansion valve on a 85 300sd 126

I'm familiar with the 300d 123 but not the 300sd 126 1985. The lines seem to indicate they are on the drivers side. Any help. some pic's or a usefull link if you know one would be greatly appreciated. Ray M

On the W-126, it's directly above the accelerator pedal............a bit difficult to access but easy to see.

Did you take the kick panel down? It's possible that the '85 is slightly different..........it's got a lot of specialized items that are not common to any other year. Maybe someone with an '85 will comment.
