Oil Cooler Line Removal '87 124 300D/300TDT

I pulled the engine and trans on the 124 '87 wagon I'm parting out yesterday.

Could not get the oil cooler lines off the oil cooler yesterday, so I pulled the motor with the cooler attached.

Any thoughts on how to loosen the cooler lines? I don't have a thin enough wrench to hold the cooler as well as the line. Can I use heat?

Any tips?
