Several variations of W123 300D wiring harnesses/diagrams in existence?

Are there several variations of W123 300D wiring harnesses/diagrams in existence or is it my imagination?

I remember I spliced a wiring harness from another W123 same year and i had to use my imagination on several parts of the harness. Ironically i trust the elex diagrams on Haynes Manuals more than the Mercedes shop CD
