The most comfortable seats ever

The secret ingredient, memory foam!!!

You will not believe the difference a 1" thick layer of memory foam will do on an aging seat. This is by far, the most comfortable seat I have ever been in.

Yes, its the expensive NASA designed stuff. I happened to come upon an unused twin sized pad at a neighborhood garage sale last week. Other than the new paint and AC compressor with R12, this is the best thing I have ever, EVER done to this car.

Supportive where it needs to be, cushy everywhere else, and the springy noise with every movement is gone.

It was an easy job as well. Other than the little plastic snaps in the back seat, I had no difficulty with the reinforcement. Next is some color matched vinyl paint to rid myself of the pinkamino.

The official test was at the drive in. I had no problems sitting though the entire double feature. If you remove the headrests, scoot the seat up as far as possible, then roll the back as flat as possible, a W123 interior turns into a nice chase lounge for two.

The SL is oficially fired from drive in duty.
