Any of you guys where is the V1 diode located in the car?

F1 the "electrical centre" is almost certainly the fuse box. In a lefthand drive Mercedes the fusebox/relay center should be on the left side of the engine compartment near the firewall. The diode will probably be back in the "relay compartment" (behind the fuses). My W124/603 electrical manual shows a V1 "power seat diode" in the far lefthand corner of the relay compartment, the corner that is closest to the firewall and closest to the left side of the car. You'll have to remove the fusebox cover and then several screws to get the top of the relay compartment off. The diode will be in a little plug-in similar to a modern fuse.
